Welcome to "StarCare Vets"! This privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") describes how Shenzhen StarCare Innovations Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "StarCare" or "we") collects and uses the information about you when you use the "StarCare Vets" application.

This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals worldwide. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use our services.
Information We Collect About You
We collect information directly from you, your connected devices, and third-party services, and also automatically through your use of our application.
When you create, update, or add information to your profile:
When you register to use the service, we collect the personal information you provide, including the pet owner’s name, phone number, and the pet’s name, type, breed, age, gender, and weight. We also collect any additional information you choose to add to your profile, such as photos, the pet's medical history, and recent medications.
Information collected from the devices you connect to the application
When you use "StarCare Vets" and StarCare Medical devices:
We collect your pet's raw electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) data, measurement data, and average heart rate. While recording, we may collect additional information from your mobile device, such as accelerometer data, local time, local time zone, and geolocation.
- Information from your mobile phone:
We collect basic information from your mobile device, including device model and operating system version, device ID, device language, application usage, and times the application is opened. When adding StarCare Medical devices in the app, we may need to use your phone’s camera to recognize the device QR code. For Bluetooth device search or syncing WIFI network configurations to the device, location services on your phone need to be enabled.
- When you contact us:
When you directly contact "StarCare Vets" (for example, when you contact our customer support team), we receive the content of your messages or any attachments you may send to us, along with any other information you choose to provide.
How We Use Your Information
We process your information, including your personal information, for the following purposes:
- To better provide our services and communicate with you, responding to your inquiries.
- To research and develop new products and features, within the scope of the law and with your consent.

For marketing, promotional, and information-sharing purposes within the scope of the law and with your consent. For example, we may use the information we learn about you to help advertise our services, which will be anonymized.

- Other Mobile Applications:With your consent, we may share your profile information and data with other applications installed on your mobile device. If you share information with these applications, your personal information will be used according to their privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy.
- Health Researchers: We may share data collected through the service, including data collected from connected devices, with medical researchers and other research organizations. For example, we may share pet names, species, breeds, weights, ages, genders, medical histories, recent medications, and device data collected through "StarCare Vets", but we will not share your name or other personally identifiable information.
- Affiliates: We may disclose information collected from you to our affiliates or subsidiaries; however, if we do so, their use and disclosure of your personal information will be subject to this Policy.
- Service Providers: We provide information collected from you to third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us, such as hosting, email communication, customer support services, analytics, marketing, and advertising providers. These third parties must follow our instructions and comply with this Policy, as well as any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
- Responding to Legal Processes: To comply with the law, legal processes, court orders, or other legal procedures, we may disclose information collected from you.

Please note that copies of information you have updated, modified, or deleted may remain visible in the application’s cached and archived pages for a period of time. Your personal data (including pet ECG data) is stored and can be accessed on your device and in the cloud.
We will store information associated with your account until your account is deleted. Please note that it may take some time to delete your account information; and if for legal reasons or to prevent harm (as described in the section on how we share information), we may retain it.
What Are My Rights?
Including:
- The right to access your personal data;
- The right to correct any inaccurate personal data;
- The right to restrict or object to the processing of personal data;
- The right to delete your personal data and data portability.
We rely on your consent as the legal basis for processing personal data:
- Collecting personal data through the service initially.
- Providing you with marketing or promotional information. You can opt-out of such communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in "StarCare Vets" email updates and changing your contact preferences.
- We process personal data to enter into a contract with you.
- Additionally, we process personal data as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you under "How We Use Your Information," including:
- Enabling the service to operate as intended;
- Communicating with you to respond to customer service inquiries, sending non-promotional service-related emails, or managing surveys and questionnaires, and customizing your experience based on your region.
- In some cases, "StarCare Vets" may process personal information based on legal obligations or to protect your vital interests or those of others.
Users Under 18
Our services are not designed for users under 18. If we discover that users under 18 have provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems.
How Do I Exercise My Rights?
Account holders can access and update their personal information through StarCare Vets’s account settings.
Account holders can contact us at service@starcaretech.com to exercise their rights to data deletion and data portability.
"StarCare Vets" does not retain any personal information of users who have not created a "StarCare Vets" account.
Please note that before disclosing any personal or account information, "StarCare Vets" may require you to provide additional information to verify your identity.
